Since 1926, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay has been in the forefront of youth development in the Tampa Bay area. We have worked to enrich the lives of young people and provide a safe haven in which they can learn, grow and have tangible measures of hope. We are seeking individuals that exhibit our core values of commitment, integrity, dynamic, accountability and teamwork and leaders that can instill these values in our youth to enhance their lives and shape their futures.

Looking for meaningful work? We have full-time and part-time positions available for engaging youth development professionals across Hillsborough and Pasco County.

Position for Hire: Youth Development Professional!

Great opportunity for college students, teachers, and other individuals who wish to make a positive impact in the lives of young people.

Applicants must be 18+ and a high school graduate with a passion for working with youth.

Position for Hire: 21st Century Teacher! 

  • $25/hr part-time positions are available at school and Club sites in Hillsborough County
  • Develop programs for youth that are gender-inclusive and sensitive to cultural diversity!
  • BA/BS Degree in Education or a related field preferred. State of Florida Teachers Certificate and 3-5 years teaching experience required.

Although each applicant will bring different credentials to the table, Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay does require the minimum for employment consideration:

  • A strong desire to work with youth, ages 5-18, in supportive and active environments. Potential staff should have the energy and drive to work in both small and large groups.
  • Knowledge and expertise in program areas that align with our three key areas of success: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character & Leadership Development. This includes the ability to be actively engaged and execute creative programs that will retain and recruit Club Members.
  • A demonstrated record of integrity and professionalism. All employees must submit to pre-employment and ongoing criminal background investigations, driving record checks, and drug tests. Boys & Girls Clubs is a drug-free workplace and smoke-free campus.
  • Be 18 years or older and have a High School diploma and/or GED.
