Summer Success Sponsors
The youth we serve are at-risk because only a few have access to the pre-requisites of learning, including internet access and personal devices at home. You can help a child combat this year’s learning loss by becoming a Summer Success Sponsor. To catch up, students will need step-up opportunities to bridge the gap and accelerate their summer success. Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay leads the way in summer gains through its 8-week enrichment program.
THE PERMUY FAMILY MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Ensuring Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay staff members have sufficient resources and mentorship opportunities is vital to professional and organizational development. With our staff well equipped with trainings, mental & community support, and elevated morale, they in turn become better mentors and role models to Club kids.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay Youth Sports Alliance
Since 1926, Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay have nurtured kids and helped them thrive. Much of that was done on the playing field in the past. Recently, sports activities waned at the Clubs, especially through that pandemic. However, today, we are fully committed to building back our sports programs to not only build healthy bodies and minds, but also character and emotional well-being of our Club kids.

Our Clubs are the brick and mortar that provide a safe and nurturing place for kids to grow, but our STAFF is the cement that creates the bond with the Club, the kids, and the community for a lifetime. Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay serves more than 22,000 youth in Hillsborough and Pasco Counties annually at our 22 Clubs. Our staff diligently work with our kids who fall into the Learning Gap due to the disparity in academic performance creating an Opportunity Gap which is dependent on race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and other factors that contribute to academic limitations.
